ABOUT EVELYN
Meet Evelyn
Evelyn is a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with more than seven years supporting people with disability, including three and a half years in positive behaviour support. Her background is in psychology, and before behaviour support she worked in disability justice, helping people with intellectual disability through the justice system.
She starts with conversation, with the person, their family and their support team, to understand what behaviour is communicating. Her plans focus on clear, practical strategies tailored to the person, written so support teams can use them every day and restrictive practices can reduce.
Evelyn values being on the same team as everyone around the person, and supports people across west and north Melbourne and out to Geelong.
